Spring 2017 Burning Permits are now available at the District of Coldstream Municipal Office.
Open burning dates are from Friday April 14 to Sunday April 30, 2017 with a permit.

The District of Coldstream Fire Services Bylaw No. 1591 and Fire Prevention Bylaw No. 1592 establish fire services for the District. The general mandate of the Fire Department is to take all proper measures for the prevention, control and extinguishment of fires, and for the protection of life and property, and the enforcement of all municipal bylaws respecting fire prevention.
The delivery of this fire protection service is currently provided by two fire halls, one in Lavington and one in west Coldstream, with 25 paid-on-call volunteer firefighters at each hall. The fire halls are not manned; however, non-emergency contact may be made to:
