Bylaws Adopted
Sanitary Service Regulation and Rate Bylaw No. 1845, 2024 Amendment
This bylaw amends the sanitary sewer connection fees from $5,000 to $8,500 and requires that developers pay the connection fee as part of a new subdivision or development service.
Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 1846, 2024
This bylaw exempts certain eligible properties from taxation for the year 2025.
Middleton Mountain Park Soccer Nets
On the recommendation of the Director of Infrastructure Services authorized Administration to have two, 12 ft x 6 ft soccer nets fabricated and installed in Middleton Mountain Park at a cost of $8,500. It is expected the new nets will be installed in the Spring/early Summer 2025.
Okanagan Regional Library – Funding Sunday Hours
Council supported the addition of the Seasonal Sunday hours to be included in the annual schedule for the Greater Vernon Library and for the additional cost to be included as part of the annual requisition.

Finance Committee Recommendations
Council ratified several recommendations from the Finance Committee, providing necessary direction to Administration for the preparation of the 2025 Operating and Capital Budgets.
