Fire Protection

The District of Coldstream Fire Protection Bylaw No. 1712 (PDF), establishes fire services for the District. The general mandate of the Fire Department is to take all proper measures for the prevention, control and extinguishment of fires; and for the protection of life and property, and the enforcement of all municipal bylaws respecting fire prevention.

Contact Information

The Coldstream Fire Department provides fire protection services through two Fire Halls:

  1. Lavington Hall 
  2. Coldstream Hall

The Halls are not manned; however, non-emergency contact may be made.

Firefighter Membership

Consider joining the District of Coldstream's dedicated team of volunteer firefighters! Volunteer firefighters are your neighbours, your co-workers, and your friends. They are caring and dedicated individuals who are prepared to come to your aid whenever they are called to do so. The District of Coldstream relies heavily on our volunteers to assist in fire protection. The District of Coldstream consists of two Fire Halls: Coldstream and Lavington.
