The Finance Committee is a sub-committee of Council that advises on matters related to the Financial Plan. Meetings are scheduled as needed.

The Long Range Planning Committee is a Standing Committee of Council. The purpose of this Committee is to assist Council by:
- receiving information, advice and recommendations;
- making recommendations to Council for their consideration; and
- implementing decisions of Council;
on bylaw, policy and procedural amendments stemming from changes to legislation governing community planning enacted by the Province of British Columbia

Council has, by bylaw, established a Board of Variance, which operates independently of Council and considers variances to the Zoning Bylaw on the grounds of hardship.

The Inter-municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee is a joint initiative of the Regional District North Okanagan (RDNO) and its member municipalities.
The purpose of the Committee is to help guide the RDNO and member municipalities in the creation of an Accessibility Plan, which will aim to identify, remove and prevent barriers to individuals in or interacting with the RDNO and member municipalities.
The Committee is comprised of volunteer representatives from the North Okanagan who through knowledge and/or experience have interest or experience in advocating for people with disabilities.
